This form provides an easy way for community members and groups to request a flag raising at City Hall, Proclamation read during a Council meeting or request the Mayor or Council members to attend a community event.

Requests to recognize North Battleford and regional initiatives or events should impact residents include:

  • Civic initiatives and campaigns
  • Charitable or community initiatives
  • Health and public service initiatives
  • Multicultural awareness initiatives or events

The Mayor may, in their sole discretion, approve the request for the proclamation provided that, in the judgment of the Mayor, the proclamation does not:

  • promote any commercial business;
  • involve any person or organization which promotes hatred of any person or class of persons, or otherwise involves illegal activity;
  • contains any inflammatory, obscene or libellous statement; or
  • concern any sexual, religious or politically sensitive subject.

Timeframes

Requests must be submitted a minimum of 14 days before the required date to be considered. Every request submitted here will be processed by Mayor's Office staff based on either priority or the order in which it arrives.
